Now we just need a name. Andy is sticking with Jack, which we kind of like, and Jonah has suggested Skippy, which we kind of don't. The floor is open to suggestions.

Boy, Oh Boy, Oh Boy!
We're having another one. I must admit, I was looking forward to the possibility of pink lace and ribbons around here but I am absolutely thrilled that we're having another boy. John threw his arms up in the air and let out a whoop like his team had just won the Superbowl, so I guess I don't have to tell you how he feels about it.

I told John yesterday that my submission to the naming pool is Levi. Reasons:
ReplyDelete1. it's awesome.
2. it's not very common
3. it's bilingual, a name people will recognize regardless of which America you are in
4. it means "joined in harmony"... a nice, peaceful entrance into a family with two older brothers
5. Jesus asked Levi to "come, follow me." A good start for Baby Levi Jewell if you ask me. :)
I don't know Cris but I like the name Levi too; however I think Jack is a really cute name, so I am siding with Andy at this point. Maybe Levi Jack...
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! That will soon be one very testosterone-filled house, though...
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the new baby being a boy! We are praying for a healthy pregnancy.
ReplyDeleteI have been thinking about the name thing. Have you considered a compromise?
Skippy Jack? If you say it fast it has a ring.
Skippy Jack Jewell. I kinda like it!
I have had a fondness for Logan lately. Good strong name :) I do like Jack too, is there room for two "J" boys in one house?!
ReplyDeleteHow about Skipper Jack and you could call him Skippy?

Jack! Jack! Jack~!
ReplyDeleteI love it.

Grqandma wants to know if you have considered Joshua Levi?
